Rise Artisan Bakery was born from the desire to create wholesome tasty bread from simple ingredients using time-honoured artisanal methods.

Following European traditions of bread making, we started with one simple German inspired sourdough recipe and a treasured levain, and have grown to offer a range of quality artisanal bread and baked goods to breweries, restaurants and cafes as well as to the Busselton community. Our reputation has grown and we have often heard it said that we have the best buns in the south west!

It takes skill, time and care to produce our goods - early starts, hand shaping, proving, long fermentation times, stone baking and the consistency of production required by some of the most discerning venues in our wonderful South West, as well as successfully coordinating a lengthy delivery run!

Our Story

Starting in 2014 with a single baker and a simple mission to provide quality sourdough bread to the Busselton community, we still hold onto the values we set out with in the beginning - good bread made from simple ingredients, using time honoured artisanal methods and the time and patience required for long fermentation processes.

After years of hard work, dedication and trial and error we have fine-tuned our processes and perfected our recipes allowing us to become a leading provider of baked goods to our community, baking for some of the most loved breweries and cafes in the south west, day in day out.

All of our bread is still mixed, hand shaped, allowed to rest and ferment for a minimum of 24 hours and stone baked fresh every day.

In recent years we have managed to scale up our production, allowing us us to produce high quantities of bread and buns for large breweries and restaurants to meet the huge demand during the summer and holiday months. We have found a way to achieve this whilst staying true to our artisanal methods, consistently producing products with a great taste, and providing a product that helps to showcase some of the best food in the area.

It is our mission to continue to offer our quality baked products to the venues of the South West and to continue to serve our loyal customers in Busselton and beyond.
